Can you confirm that you followed the instructions for setting up syncing between desktop systems at: https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/syncing-and-sharing-data/sync...?

From what you describe, it sounds like you may have set up your laptop to sync its data file to Dropbox, rather than opening the synced information in Dropbox already from your other computer and mobile devices. When opening your data on your laptop, did you create a new file, select "Open Synced File," and then choose the same sync method as selected on the first system?

Also, just to confirm, are both systems running Moneydance 2019?

I'll hold my hands up and say it's user error. On re-reading the
instructions I realised my error. I now have my laptop, desktop and
iPhone all syncing to the same file.

Many thanks
