Please accept my sincere apologies for the delay getting back to you. I’m afraid that your request for assistance was missed by the support team, and it’s only now we’ve been able to work through the backlog of older discussions. I must apologise again for the poor level of service and lack of support you have received. I’d like to provide assistance if you’re still in a position to work through these issues. Please be assured we are putting systems in place to ensure a higher level of service and speedier responses.
I can see you’ve received a reply from one of our knowledgeable Moneydance customers, and hope that you are getting well with syncing Moneydance to your phone.
If not, here are some guidelines regarding on how to sync data from Moneydance on your computer to your phone which could be useful for you.
Open Moneydance on the computer, to access the file you'd like to share, please choose File --> Syncing.
In this window, you should pick a Dropbox sync method. Please note: if you intend to change Sync Connection Method, please choose 'Don't Sync' option first, then select the intended one. If you choose 'Dropbox Connection', you'll be prompted to visit the Dropbox site and retrieve an authorisation code that you can enter into Moneydance. PS: You should also create and enter a syncing encryption password if you haven't already.
On your iPad, you can download the free Moneydance mobile app from the iOS App Store.
When you open the Moneydance mobile app, click on the blue 'Dropbox' title and logo at the top of the screen. This will allow you to connect with Dropbox and access your sync files. You should pick the file you want to view and enter the syncing encryption password to match the computer.
The steps to sync with a mobile device are also outlined in this article from the knowledge base.
Hope this information helps. Please do keep us updated with the progress and let us know again if you need further assistance or have any other queries. Thank you.
