Choosing Synced Accounts
How can one choose what accounts to sync or not to sync in the mobile app?
If that's not possible, it would be a good feature to add. A user might have a few or less accounts that they want to update or show from their mobile device, and they might have several that they only want to see in their main Moneydance app and not on the mobile app.

Investment accounts do not sync to a mobile device at all.
Mostly you sync banking and credit card accounts, the only determinate here is if the account it marked inacitve on the desktop it will not show on the mobile device.

Yes I can see that. My question refers to choosing active accounts to sync. For example I have a mortgage account and an asset account that just take up useless space in the phone app, will never be updated from there, and don’t need syncing.
I think the ability to select specific accounts to sync would be very useful.

Hi Christopher,
I can see you’ve received a reply from one of our knowledgeable Moneydance customers. In reading your suggestion for a feature request I was wondering whether if would be more feasible perhaps to add a feature in the mobile app that allows you to hide certain accounts rather than choosing which account to sync (from within the same data file) from the desktop version. Would this be what you are hoping to achieve?

Hi Maddy,
From a technical perspective I think a hide option would be more feasible, it gets away from problems that may be created by only syncing some accounts to some devices, e.g such a feature could be problematic with account to account transfers.
