Just upgraded to MD 2023 -5005. now IOS app is does not show accurage balances

my IOS App on iphone 14 is version 2.34
PC 2023 (5005)

My MD app on iphone does not show accurate balances for some accounts. Some transactions are missing/
For example, One account on PC shows 6 transactions with a balance of $165 and the same account on IOS shows 4 transactions and a balance of $384. Obvioulsy IOS is missing some earlier transactions and I have restarted both IOS app and PC MD App several times and resynced and sill not accurage.
Some other accounts are accurate but some others are missing.

How do I get them to sync up again? I am using drop box to sync.

    oops my proof reading skills also need correcting. Paragragh 2 ending should read "... still not accurate".

    We are sorry to hear about the problem you have encountered.

    In order to determine what might be causing the problem, please can you provide the information below:

    • Which version and build of Moneydance are you using? To check, open Moneydance and select Help -> About Moneydance

    • Can you let me know which operating system you're running on your computer?

    • Is your data file stored in the default location?

    Please note: if you are syncing your data with a mobile device, or another system - you should NOT move your data file to a shared folder location, like Dropbox. The file should remain on your local system if your data is being synced or shared, as outlined here.

    • When you navigate to File->Syncing which sync method do you have selected?

    Dropbox Folder or Dropbox Connection?

    • Finally, is your most recent data showing on your phone or on your computer?

    I posted that my MD IOS App was version 2.34* and my PC MD App was **version 2023(5005). I checked again on the help/about and its still version 2023 build 5005. My PC OS is Windows 10 Pro Version 21H2 build 19044.2486

    As I mentioned in my original post I am using dropbox. Data is stored in the original location.
    Note that prior to upgrading from version 2022 to 2023.5005 syncing seemed to work ok.

    It seems entries posted or changed on my IOS app ARE reflected on my PC MD

    however entries posted or changed on my PC MD ARE NOT reflected on the IOS App.

    I have synced both IOS and PC Moneydance several times to see if the changes show up the PC MD app, and they do not.

    We are aware of a possible bug in the new version that is affecting the Dropbox Connection method. Switching to a different method should help temporarily resolving the issue. That being said please send us a copy of your Moneydance error logs? The logs should include information on what might be causing the issue.

    They are saved on your computer as an errlog.txt file. You need to navigate to:Local Disk(C:)>Users>Your Name>.moneydance>errlog.txt
