sync my moneydance file with moneydance on windows

I have been using Moneydance for many years on my Apple Mac over several upgrades to Mak, and several paid updates to Moneydance
I've just purchased a license for Moneydance for a friend and want my friend to be able to open my Moneydance file on his Windows computer.
Which folders should I be storing the Moneydance file on to make this happen?
I have shared folders with this friend using dropbox
