Sharing Backup Database with Another Computer
I would like my husband to be able to use Moneydance from his computer. We have MD downloaded on both his Apple computer and mine, and I have the backup database stored in Apple iCloud so we can share it. The problem is that I can't get his MD to repopulate from the shared backup. Help!

Do NOT store the Moneydance data base in the cloud ever. You face the likely prospect of data corruption. It is fine to backup to the cloud but never use the database sitting in the cloud.
Instead use the inbuilt Moneydance syncing capability to synchronize the data on each machine using a location in the cloud as a place to exchange data.
The setup of this is covered in the Knowledge Base article:

This is the only supported way to have near real time sharing of Moneydance data.

I have removed all MD files from iCloud and followed the instructions re: syncing. I've tracked the location on my computer (iMac) of MD backups/archive. The name of the backup shows up on my husband's computer (MacBook), but MD does not populate with data. (See attached images.) I worry that if I close MD on his computer I may lose the data in my MD if his computer re-syncs with mine. Help!
