Hi mdubbie
Find the folder .moneydancesync in Dropbox. In this folder you should find alphanumeric folders. In your case six.
In each of these folders open a text file called mdsyncinfo.txt in a text editor.
These files will contain the main of the associated Data Set (sync file).
You can then delete the three unwonted alphanumeric folders.
Hope this helps.

Hi mdubbie
Also if you are running a recent build of Moneydance say preview 2024.2(5146) there is a more direct way to find the association of alphanumeric folder and Data Set (sync file). Preview builds can be found at https://infinitekind.com/preview If you not happy running preview build go with my last post.
In Moneydance click FILE – NEW – and select OPEN SYNCED FILE etc.
From the list that appears mouse hover over each name in the list and an info window will open that includes the alphanumeric folder name.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply derekken23. There are only 3 folders, but the duplicates are in 2 of the 3 folders. I think I need to delete the conflicted copy files but not sure of any others. Any insight?

Hi mdubbie
I have never experienced the conflicted copy files issue. If I did I think I would take the nuclear option.
In the Moneydance iPad and iPhone apps in settings I would disconnect.
On my computer under FILE – SYNCING I would set Sync Method to Don’t Sync.
I would then rename the Dropbox Folder .moneydancesync to .oldmoneydancesync
Finally I would set up Dropbox Folder syncing again on my computer and then on my iPad and iPhone.
If all is then well delete the folder .oldmoneydancesync
Hope this helps.

Greetings derekkent23. Well it looks like the nuclear option resolved the issue. Thanks for your assistance.
