Dear all,

I'm on a new Mac Sequoia installation. I'm trying to sync the MD sync folder ".moneydancesync" from the Dropbox cloud to my local drive. No matter what I do, it does not appear on my local drive.
Dropbox apparently does not (or no longer) allows to sync a file or folder locally that has a special character in it such as .,?! ect.
The MD sync file sadly starts with a "." so will not sync to my local drive. Has anybody else experienced this?
Does anyone know if I can change the Dropbox sync folder name within MD to avoid this issue?

Thanks, Quinten

Are you sure... any folders with a dot prefix are hidden in MacOS.

    COMMAND-SHIFT-DOT exposes them...

Also, dropbox recently relocated their folders to:
    /Users/xxx/Library/CloudStorage/Dropbox/.moneydancesync/ via an alias...

    Several points...
    1. You can use toolbox to detect if there is an alias issue, also open the dropbox folder to see if it's there.

    1. you can switch to shared folders and point to a dropbox shared folder... (it's exactly the same technology)..
