Delete Account from MD iOS Mobile

MD 2024.2 v5172, MacOS 14.7.1, iOS 18.0.1 (iOS MD version has no “about” page with version number, but it SHOULD! Presumably v2.37)

I have a bank account which has been deleted from my MD Mac version; however, it continues to show up in the iOS version. How can I make it go away in the iOS version?

   Hi Gib

   Generally it’s not a good idea to delete an account, if it contains transactions. You should instead open its account window under TOOLS – ACCOUNTS and set the Account inactive by ticking its inactive box.

   With the account set to inactive it should be removed from your mobile device.

   Hope this helps.

   Thanks, I mistyped: I did not delete it, but I had flagged it as "Hide on summary page (if balance is zero)." That, of course, didn't do it, but following your suggestion (the other checkbox, "Inactive") did. And after a few minutes, a spontaneous sync removed it from iOS. Thanks again!
