Using my Moneydance files on a new computer

My old computer crashed. I had to buy a new one. But I have back-ups on iCloud of my files.
When I download the MD App, it does not sync automatically to my existing MD files. How can I open my files on the downloaded App?

    Hello,

    If you had syncing set up, you should be able to follow the instructions to retrieve sync data: https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/syncing-and-sharing-data/sync...

    If you had backup files saved to iCloud, you can restore a backup: https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/backups-and-exporting/restori...

    If neither of those help, please let me know in a bit more detail what these backup files are in iCloud, and how you set them up.
