Version of MoneyDance on Google Play
Hello, I tried to download the android version of MoneyDance to my Samsung Android phone, but Google Play said that it could not be downloaded because the MoneyDance was written for an earlier version of android. I assume it is not compatible with my Galaxy S22 Ultra. Is there an updated version for newer Android phones? Thanks, Steve

Hi Steven
I am running Moneydance 2024.4(5253) on Windows 10 and Widows 11 as well as Linux Ferron.
I am syncing via Dropbox Folder
My Android Phone is a Samsung Galaxy S25 running Android 16.
Installed is the Moneydance Android Alpha app build 20250323
If not perfect, but it works.
In March 2025 I signed up to be a tester and followed the instructions on this page https://infinitekind.com/prepreview
This may not work for you as other have reported problems, but you may wont to give it a try.
Sean the developer has been promising a new build for a long time, but nothing yet.
Hope this helps.

Hello Derek,
Thanks for the response and the instructions. However, Google Play will not even let me download the android version because of the "incompatibility" with my phone's software version.
Is there another place where I can download the android version?
I think MoneyDance has a great product but I am not too sure about the depth of the company.
Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steven
I will post a link for Sean the Moneydance Developer on his Slack web site to this discussion in the hope he will respond with some advice.

Hi Steve,
We are sorry to hear about the problem you have encountered.
Unfortunately this is what is being reported from other new users of the Android app as well.
You won't be able to instal the existing Android mobile app until a new update is released.
At the moment, there’s no official estimated release date for a new version. We understand the importance of mobile functionality and appreciate your patience as we continue to improve the platform.
If any updates become available, we’ll be sure to notify you immediately.
