Stock sales not being reported when lot matching has not been complete
This comment was split from the discussion: Dropbox connection dropped
Thanks. I am waiting on a potential solution to the issue of stock sales within an account not being reported when lot matching has not been completed. I think someone has proposed a solution which might be in test mode somewhere.

You’re talking about the capital gains report. Yes this is addressed in the latest md2026 alpha

Is ALPHA the main release? I'm running 2024.4(5253) which is the up to date version when I check for upgrades.

Alpha releases are early test releases, folks that do testing are the main users as they look for problems in the software.
Alpha releases are never used on live data only on test data.

Hi Philip,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.
The development team just confirm that a fix has already been added to the latest alpha version
The"alpha" of Moneydance is an early-stage development preview version.
This is used in the software development for testing new features. An alpha version typically includes new features or major updates but may still have bugs and incomplete functionality. It is usually shared with a limited group of users for feedback before progressing to beta testing.
If you would rather wait for the preview or stable version to be released, I can flag this thread and inform you once it is officially published.
