New PC
I have Moneydance installed on a PC, and used Dropbox connection to create a sync. This allowed me to install the mobile app to also update my finances.
I notice in Dropbox all you really see is a .moneydancesync folder and I don't believe it holds the actual database of transactions. I assume it is some sort of sync governance tool. I further notice that on my PC i have a folder Moneydance which does appear to hold transaction files/database.
I have a new laptop to replace existing one and in process of build. I installed Moneydance and Dropbox and have configured to sync. However, I don't have the same Moneydance folder on the new laptop, and I am concerned that I am still syncing data to the old laptop, which when retired will leave me stuck.
Is there any documentation or instructions on how to transfer a synced Moneydance to a new computer, so that old one can be decommissioned.

To quit syncing...
On the old, decommissioned computer, open Moneydance.
From the Moneydance menu bar, go to File > Syncing.
In the resulting form, select 'Don't Sync' from the drop-down list.
Click OK.
