So no with both on different 3G sub nets they will not see each other. We are investigating and working on an internet cloud based syncing solution that would allow any device connected to the internet to sync with Moneydance and I do not have a time line for when this will be implemented.</p>
<p>You could create an adhoc/computer-to-computer wifi connection between your laptop and your iPad. Essentially turning your laptop into a wifi hot spot. This would put both devices on the same local network and then they should be able to sync. Here are the instructions for doing this on Snow Leopard.</p>
