<p>I ran into a very similar problem back in December 2018. Once I upgraded the Money Foresight Extension, it behaved as the unregistered version. There is a discussion on the matter and the developer of Money Foresight, Kevin Stembridge, gave a complete explanation of why it happened and how to fix things:</p>

<p>I hope that this helps you to get going again.</p>

Many thanks for the swift comment and support, appreciated.</p>
<p>I have reviewed Kevin's comment from the link you supplied where Kevin makes some suggestions to resolve (6 Posted by Kevin Stembridg... on Dec 10, 2018 @ 11:30 PM posting).<br>
Unfortunately when I visit the Money Foresight webpage to get the link to downgrade my version (seems V42 is needed) all I get is another web page open up as a HTML (moneyforesight.42.mxt.html (3.42 MB) ) that's just a string of code and doesn't do anything (i.e. doesn't execute a command or launch into anything, just row upon row of developer code, not a program useable for a typical user like me??).<br>
Seems my issue is a little deeper perhaps??<br>
I've also posted the same issue into BitBucket so maybe Kevin can see the issue there...?</p></div>AJtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/471910002019-04-19T13:45:14Z2019-04-19T13:45:14ZMoney Foresight doesn't allow a forecast more than x1 month<div><p>Hi AJ</p>
<p>If you have downloaded Moneyforesight.42.mxt file, don't try to open it yet.</p>
<p>What you have to do next is go to the Moneydance app and click on "Manage Extensions", then go to the bottom left side of that window and choose "Add from File". Then navigate to the location where you saved the .mxt file and open it there</p>
<p>That will put you back to version 42 of Moneyforesight and you should be all set.</p>
<p>In any event, you've contacted Kevin and his responses are usually very prompt.</p>
<p>Take care,</p>
<p>Tony :)</p></div>TonyRItag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/471910002019-04-19T13:58:16Z2019-04-19T13:58:17ZMoney Foresight doesn't allow a forecast more than x1 month<div><p>arghh, so close Tony.<br>
Followed your instructions which now makes perfect sense but upon adding the file from the manage extensions I then get an error message as follows;<br>
Error loading extension: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/xml/bind/DatatypeConverter<br>
(Screenshot provided attached). I decided to remove whatever current version I had already in MoneyDance and closed the program, then relaunching, also did a Mac reboot to see if that would help; Error still there :(</p>
<p>Thanks again for the very swift response Tony <br>

<p>You're welcome, sometimes things don't go as planned :(</p>
<p>I'll fire an email off to Kevin.</p></div>TonyRItag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/471910002019-04-19T14:12:59Z2019-04-19T14:12:59ZMoney Foresight doesn't allow a forecast more than x1 month<div><p>Just a thought, it's up to you. I did the upgrade to build 51 for $5, I wonder if older versions don't play nicely with MD 2019?</p>
<p>I'm sure that Kevin will chime in soon</p>
<p>I'll leave you now.</p>
<p>Please don't worry, I'm sure that you will gain speedy resolution</p></div>TonyRItag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/471910002019-04-19T14:34:27Z2019-04-19T14:34:27ZMoney Foresight doesn't allow a forecast more than x1 month<div><p>Unfortunately I don't get the opportunity to enter my Foresight SW key after removing it and re installing. So couldn't look to buy the SW again as I don't get the opportunity to enter the key, which is weird...<br>
Might also get the same problem after purchase so would rather downgrade to my original version to be safest for now with this issue.</p>
<p>I did run a Java update seeing as Java was appearing (mentioned) in the error message I got, so downloaded the latest Java version, did a Mac restart to ensure the update is imbedded correctly on my Mac and started afresh in MoneyDance once again with Money Foresight.<br>
The error message was displayed once more upon loading up v42 onto my version of MoneyDance.<br>
Thanks again for your swift replies and support Tony - very much appreciated.<br>

<p>Sorry for all the trouble there. Looks like there are a lot of things going on.</p>
<p>The NoClassDefFoundError you are now getting is occurring because versions of Money Foresight prior to v50 are not compatible with MD 2019. This is because some of the software that MF relies upon is no longer bundled with MD.</p>
<p>What I would do is install the latest version of Money Foresight (v51) and I'll fix the issue with the one month limit. I can do this on the back end by extending your registration code. I just need to know what your code is. Or your email address. Could you let me know by emailing support at moneyforesight dot com.</p>
<p>Sorry again for the hassle.</p>
<p>And many thanks to Tony for the help.</p>
<p>Regards,<br>

Yup, lucky me, I didn't even update MD to the latest version, it would seem this has updated itself somehow on my Mac...</p>
<p>I've supplied all my details to you (to online support from MD), hopefully this will provide you with what's needed.<br>
Let me know when you have a resolve so I can download the latest version of MF with the full functionality i used to enjoy.<br>
Thanks for your troubles on this ;)</p>
<p>Best regards,<br>

<p>I've given you some confusing instructions.</p>
<p>Email addresses are blocked when you type them into these comments so I use a plain text version "support at moneyforesight dot com". Just replace 'at' with @, and dot com with .com.</p>
<p>Cheers,<br>
