Reports
We are new uses of Moneydance coming from Quicken everything is going well except for the fact that the reports are generic Quicken gave the ability to create reports selecting fields as needed in Moneydance we must use what Moneydance selects as valid. Question does Moneydance offer a report writter App?

Mike Bray has a report writer extension.

The extension is actually very good, but you will need to generate the
report you want, since the output is in csv format. All the data is
there! Slicing and dicing is up to you. A bit of programming knowledge
(like python) that can handle csv files easily, may be of help, but I
can see similar result using cal (or excel). You may need some time to
understand the information provided.At this point in its development,
still a "roll-your-own" or steep learning curve for "Jasper" My advice
is don't go there (yet).

Though using Python on the csv files may be useful, using the tools
within Excel is the easiest non-programming way.

If you want csv and then you can play in excel I have a variety of extract. The extension is extract_data
