Small bank not listed in OFX service listing
I just opened a new account with a small bank. I went to setup the online banking within Moneydance only to discover they are not in the OFX service listing. I looked at the manual setup, but I don't know how to answer the OFX questions: OFX Institute Org, OFX Institute ID and the URL.
Can I use the Moneydance+ instead? If the bank isn't listed in the OFX will it be listed in Moneydance+?
Thanks

Direct Connect (OFX) can only be used if the bank provides the infrastructure that supports this functionality.
You can name the bank and TIK staff can investigate if they do support Direct Connect.
There is no position that if Automatic downloads are not support through one method they will be supported using the other. The institutions supported by Moneydance+ depends on the aggregator, Plaid, and if it is possible for them to source the transactions.

You can sign up for MD+ with X days free as a trial (I forget the value of X), then you could see if your bank(s) is there.
Conversely, you might want to name the bank, and someone using MD+ might look it up for you.

Thank you for the reply.
I figured out that I can export the transactions from the website as a .qif file and import into the Moneydance account. This is such a small account and I only really plan to use it for a specific purpose, I decided I can keep it iin sync using this method.
Thank you for the information.
