I could not find instruction on how to sync with Citi for Citi credit cards. When I called them, they erroneously told me it is not possible for Moneydance and they only support Quick Books. Citi tech support incorrectly told me that I would have to manually download transactions to my desktop one file at a time and import them account by account.

Citi does support syncing transaction automatically from Moneydance but you have to go into your Citi account and add access. There needs to be a document somewhere with instructions; preferably instructions that pop up when trying to sync with Citi for the first time. Here's how to do it:

1. Make sure you are the primary account holder. Syncing only works for the primary account holder's Citi account. Everyone else will get an error code "0"
2. Log into your Citi account for your Citi credit cards through the Citi web portal.
3. Click on "Profile" in the upper right hand corner
4. Click on "More Settings"
5. Click on "Manage Deskop Apps"
6. Click on "Add Access"

You now have 10 minutes to set up online banking and download transaction in Moneydance for each credit card account.

I hope this information helps someone else.

    Thank you for taking the time to share these steps, Charles!

    These are the steps we usually provide for enabling Direct Connect with Citi:

    1. Go to Citibank CC account and chose "Set up Online Banking"
    2. Choose "New Connection" and then select "Citi Cards"
    3. Going through the setup you'll be prompted to visit https://citi.com/datamanagement
    4. Make sure you are logged out of Citibank before going to that URL.

    5. Click on ADD ACCESS and followed steps 1 & 2 above.

    description = Citi Credit Card
    institution.description = Citi
    institution.id = 24909
    institution.url = https://mobilesoa.citi.com/CitiOFXInterface

    Please let us know if these steps seem to be accurate in your experience.

    Thank you
