request for visual cue to distinguish debits and credits in Investment accounts
Whereas for bank accounts where credits and debits appear in separate columns, for a brokerage account, both credits and debits appear in the same column and are indistinguishable unless one looks at the Action column to see if it is a MiscInc or a MiscExp or one does the math on the cash balance. This makes it hard work to make sense of things, especially if one is using a brokerage account for banking. Would it be possible to provide a visual cue as to whether the amount is a credit or a debit? Possibilities include using a separate column as for bank accounts, color coding, putting a negative sign in front of debits, and putting parentheses around debit amounts.
