Error code 2000 when exporting bank transaction data to Moneydance
I've been trying to export my bank information to Moneydance, bur I am getting an error code of 2000, and can't import the data. It has always worked in the past, but not now.

Well you do not say what method you are trying to use, but Error 2000 is a normally a very general error message for Direct Connect which is associated with the username/password or with online access for accounts being turned off.

I log in to my account on my bank's website, after which I use my bank's
export function using QFX format. It is then downloaded and
simultaneously it used to show up in Moneydance asking me whether this
should be added to the corresponding account in Moneydance. When I click
on that, it got downloaded into that account. When I used the same
procedure for two of my credit cards and an account in my other bank,
they went through with no error code. I called the bank that I was
having problems with, and they checked and said that my data had been
exported/downloaded from their end and it showed up as not having any
problems. So that is where I'm at right now. Can I somehow uncouple that
bank's account setup in Moneydance and then create it again without
losing any of the data currently in that account?

I'm a fellow user.
For relatively recent versions of Moneydance you can reset the link between download OFX/QFX files and specific accounts within Moneydance.
This is the “Remember This Choice” option and to reset this you need to use the match online window.
To access this use the menu path Online → Match Online Accounts.
Within this window ensure that “Imported OFX/QFX” is selected then identify which account you want to clear the option for.
Select the account and in the drop down select “None”.
You may need to Close and reopen Moneydance. You should now be able to perform the import and be prompted for the account.

Apparently my version of Moneydance is older, and doesn't have the
"Remember the choice" option. However, I went in and edited my account
by entering my bank's routing number and account number(both of which
were 'optional'), and then tried to export from my bank's website again
and it worked. Thanks for your help in helping me sort things out. Just
talking over different options helps.
