Mistaken association with account

When downloading credit card account information from my bank, I mistakenly associated a downloaded file with the wrong credit card account in MoneyDance, and clicked the "remember" checkbox. I've tried to fix it in the Match Online Accounts dialog box, but that hasn't worked. How can I undo the association?

Thanks, Matt

    Hi Matt

Assuming you has a fairly resent version build of Moneydance try:
ONLINE - MATCH ONLINE ACCOUNTS highlight the ACCOUNT to the right of the ONLINE NAME/NUMBER to open a dropdown and select the correct account.

    Hope this helps.

Toolbox extension. Update mode. Online banking tools. Forget banking link. Or something like that.

    Thanks for the insight!

The Forget OFX Banking File Import Link selection is disabled, saying that it only works for MD versions < 2022

Is there another selection I should be using?

The capability was implemented as a core function in Moneydance 2023.

Well.. You should be using the ONLINE - MATCH ONLINE ACCOUNTS feature as mentioned above... Select OFX, then unmap the account.. It does work..

When you say it doesn't work, can you explain further? Do you see the option, can you click the buttons... Pls try again.. If it doesn't work again, then grab help/console and upload that there..

Also, you can email me for an unlock code that will enable that toolbox feature.

The screenshots really helped. In the match online account dialog, I was looking at the option hat had my bank name, not knowing that the QFX file option was there.

All is good now, thanks so much for the help.
