Switching from the OFX method to MD +
I have an account that currently uses OFX. All of my other accounts use MD+. I want to switch the reamaining account to MD+ but I'm not sure how best to do it. I attempted this a couple of years ago and ended up with about 200 duplicate transactions.
Suggestions? I thought about trying the following:
A: Make a backup!
1. Remove online banking from the existing account.
2. Create a new account and setup online banking with MD+
3. download all existing. data.
or this.
B:
1 remove online banking from existing account.
2. setup MD+ and download online from January 1st (Is that available?)
3. resolve issues since January 1.
Option two is preferred to me but I'm not sure if it is best.
