.ofx import not working
Hi! For years, I've been going to capital one and downloading an OFX report for transactions, double clicking on that .ofx file and it will import into Moneydance up until 2 days ago. Now when I double click on the .ofx it switches over to Moneydance but the transactions don't load like they always have. Any suggestions/ideas on how to fix this?

I also just tried this approach fro your website and it didn't work
Open the File with Moneydance -
After downloading a file from your bank's website, many web browsers will automatically ask which program you want to use to open the downloaded file. If your web browser prompts you in this manner select “Moneydance”.
If you are not prompted to open the file automatically, save the file on your computer.
Then open Moneydance, and select File > Import.
Alternatively, you can open Moneydance and drag the downloaded file into the Moneydance program window (onto the account name in the left side bar).
The Import file window will then appear. From here the process differs depending on what type of file you are importing - QFX, OFX or QIF files.

Hi Leslie,
I just read a post on another forum from a Capital One client having a problem with importing their OFX file(s).
You could try opening the OFX file using a simple word processor, e.g. Notepad, to see what the contents of the file are. It may shed some light on the issue.
It could just be a glitch on Capital One's side. Give it a day or two for them to sort it out.

Leslie,
It appears that the OFX file with whatever extension it downloads is linked to MD and opens MD as expected. The problem seems to be that the OFX file is empty or does not contain any new transactions. You don't mention what version of MD or what OS you are using which is sometimes helpful for suggestions.

As Kevin has suggested checking the contents of the OFX file is a good place to start when imports do not appear to be working, you can validate if it contains any transactions, if so are they new, or if any data that is in the file is correctly formatted.

Thanks everyone! It started working again today so Kevin was right to just be patient & apparently capital one fixed it on their end.
