iCreateOFX Schwab transactions off by factor of 100
I've been using iCreateOFX since last year to convert Schwab investment CSV files to OFX for MD. It has worked fine in the past, but on my last run the transactions were off by a factor of 100. They looked correct in the iCreateOFX display before I converted to OFX, but upon importing to MD, a transaction for 4.355 shares, for example, imports as 435.5 shares. This causes my accounts to be off by thousands of dollars. I contacted the creator of iCreateOFX, and he suggested the issue might be in MD's OFX importer since the data looks correct in iCreateOFX before I export it. Is anyone else using this software to import Schwab, and have you encountered the same issue?

The important question is did something change in MD between the time that it worked and then when it didn't work? If you stayed with the same version, then this issue can't be an MD issue - as the program was the same.
Conversely, let's say you upgraded to 2024(5117) which could only have been today of course, and that then it suddenly stopped working correctly.

I'm not sure...I'll have to look at the release history to see how many updates (if any) occurred since my last successful import. I had the issue before and after today's update. I think the error might be tied to CUISP which is auto-generated by iCreateOFX. That would explain the duplicate securities after an import but still leaves me baffled as to how the numbers are being thrown off by such a big factor. I wanted to rule things out so imported a much smaller file that included only this month's transactions and not every transaction since the last update in October 2023 (I got a bit behind). That small import seems to have worked. In the meantime I've manually entered 6 months of Schwab data because I needed the information updated today. I figure that's probably worth at least $40, so it might be time to switch to MD+.

Not trying to influence you, just data - I reluctantly upgraded to MD+ because of Schwab, USAA, and Chase (they're falling like flies from Direct Connect) - and all three do work for me. There are some who don't (Kohls), but the majors seem to be working - oh except for Fidelity, but that's another story entirely.

Great, I have the majority of my investments in Fidelity where (for now) regular OFX downloads still work, and USAA CSV import works pretty well. My big 3 are Fidelity, USAA, and Schwab. I guess I need to research what's up with Fidelity before jumping to MD+.

I also have Fidelity, and continue to use OFX for them (many users think it is all MD+ or nothing, and that's not true).
As for Fidelity, they want everyone to use Akoya (which Fidelity basically owns) versus other aggregators like Plaid. The scary part of that is what if Fidelity does turn off OFX, like USAA and Schwab did.
