Odd behavior when syncing multiple Venmo accounts
I'm willing to pay you to implement support for this scenario, spend hours providing debugging info, and/or program it myself (I'm a senior level software developer). My wife & I both have Venmo accounts. I was able to get them both to appear on the "Set Up Moneydance+" dialog, though I'm seeing some buggy behavior suggesting things might be designed to only link one Venmo account to one Plaid account under the hood. I went through the process to add each of our two Venmo accounts once, but now have three Venmo accounts listed on the "Set Up Moneydance+" dialog. All three seem to be actually syncing with the first Venmo account I added, while transactions for the second Venmo account are not appearing. Please let me know how I can make this as easy for you to fix as possible. I appreciate it in advance!

I have a similar situation with several other banks and it’s fiddly and you have to be careful to ensure when linking second user accounts to select the right login, authorise from the right app etc. But it does work for me.
One thing that may help you is to use toolbox. Online banking tools. The first option will show you the raw config data. Perhaps you can try each one, run the report, and see what’s going on.

I have this issue with Chase - four accounts, two people (spouse and self), personal and business.
One has to carefully let each account populate with all associated accounts, and link them carefully to the correct account. I have found that if I am not patient, I end up choosing the first account for different links.
I guess I'm saying start over, since you want two accounts, not three... then be both patient and careful. Now, there really could be an issue with Venmo/Plaid, but I've seen something similar that ended up working.... (I do have 4 Chase categories within MD+/Plaid)

I appreciate the responses Stuart & dtd!
I disconnected all three duplicate instances of the single Venmo account that was syncing, tried again (now almost two months later), and everything seems to work as expected. The only thing I did differently was wait several hours between connecting each Venmo account. I am currently thinking it must have been bug on the Plaid side that was either fixed, or has to do with caching previously authenticated accounts (which I may have accidentally worked around by waiting long enough for my session to timeout).

I'd say the waiting hours between each account was important.
I had to do similar with Chase.
For me, with multiple cards in each account, waiting for the account list to appear also helped me pick the right ones.
So, I'd claim your latter assertion.
