Online banking connect to Loan
I’ve successfully set up my online connection to my bank (PNC Bank) where I have Checking, Savings, Credit Card, Mortgage, HELOC and Overdraft Protection accounts.
No problem identifying my Checking and Savings accounts. But when I try to associate my Online Mortgage account with a Loan account I set up in Moneydance, it doesn’t display my Loan account to select. I see no reason to manually enter my Mortgage info into Momeydance when I have the online connection available.
I’ve searched online and don’t see any references to this problem.

I'm a fellow Moneydance user.
Institutions often do not offer loan for automatic download and Moneydance also does not support them.
There are a couple of reasons for this.
The loan account type in Moneydance is automatic in that repayments are driven by a special type of transaction reminder that automates the repayment of the loan from another account.
Secondly for many loans the institutions insist on automatic repayments from another account so the transaction is reflected in that accounts downloads, so if you set a loan up as a liability, you can handle the transaction during the confirmation process.
If you are paying over the counter I would suggest you set up a transaction reminder for the repayment which you can set to auto or manual commit and that can process the repayments in Moneydance.
