I would like to connect my Moneydance with a Fidelity account. When I try to use Moneydance+, it takes me to the Plaid window, and when I click on Fidelity it says they can't connect with Fidelity. I understand there's another way to connect the account, but it's unclear how to do it.

I hope you can help. And thank you.

Fidelity is problematic as they want you to use their Akoya aggregator versus Plaid (which provides MD+)

The current solution (which is possibly problematic in the future) is to connect via OFX which is builtin to the Moneydance product, and was great for many years, but many banks are dropping it (VERY sad) in favor of aggregators. But, at the moment Fidelity INVESTMENTS works with OFX.

If you need help on connecting via ofx, there are kb articles, or you can just ask again.

Plaid stopped support Fidelity when they forced everyone to go through an aggregator that Fidelity have an ownership interest in, they would say it it for your protection, the cynical may say it is for their financial gain.

The alternative for Fidelity it to use Direct Connect, the basic instructions on using Direct Connect are in the Knowledge Base:
