Just noticed that there is 2 different blue dots in my register. One is a plain transparent blue circle and the other is the same except there is a horizonal line like cutting a pie in half. What is the difference between the two?

    Hi,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.

The entries with just a blue circle were downloaded but no existing entry found.
The entries with a bar across the blue circle were merged with an existing entry when your data was downloaded.

So if you have already entered a transaction manually or with an auto committed reminder, the blue circle will have a bar across it, acknowledging that you were already aware and expected that transaction when you downloaded your data and merged it.
If your downloaded data just has a blue circle, then that transaction is new to Moneydance.
In other words, those transactions were never entered in Moneydance previous to the download or the amount/date is incorrect on your manual entry.
This should help identify possible problems or transactions you need to adjust to keep your account accurate.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.
