This is true ONLY for one of my banks - CSCU, Community Service Credit Union.
I applied latest software update and it did not help the issue.

The latest software update has no changes related to downloading transactions.

    Hello,

Can you clarify the connection method you are using to connect to your credit union? Are you receiving any error messages?

    A few things to check:

Make sure the All button is selected at the top of your register. Some of the other options can filter out recent transactions from the active view.

Do you see a bar towards the bottom of your register that says something like '## Unconfirmed Transactions'? If so, you have the split register view active. You can either click and drag this bar up to reveal your unconfirmed transactions, or exit this view by clicking on the 'box' icon just to the right of the New Transaction button.

    Hello,
Moneydance+ via Plaid only downloads 90 days worth of information.

I saw someone had a similar thread last summer but never saw a resolution.

Anyone able to download more than 90 days.

    Thank you

Automatic download services only include a limited amount of data. Neither you or Moneydance can change this.

To get more you may be able to go to your institutions website and manually download a greater range of transactions.

My financial institution doesn't offer csv format downloads.

Other people here have posted they were able to download 24 months from their 3 banks and suddenly all 3 banks only downloading 90 days. All three changing policy at the same time seems impossible.

You are better off with OFX/QFX or QIF downloads.

The only thing you can do in Moneydance is to Reset the Syncing Date.

You can change the transaction history date range at any time.

Choose Online → Setup Moneydance+ and select the 'Accounts' tab.
Select the relevant account and choose 'Reset Sync Date'.

The next time you download transactions for this account, you will be asked how much transaction history you would like to download as if this is the first time and Moneydance will download whatever is available.

As to why there would only now be 90 days data if there was more before, Moneydance has no control over the amount of data held, it could simply be the case that Plaid did a purge of older transactions as part of their system management, I would expect no one outside of Plaid would know.

I tried OFX/QFX and my financial institution wasn't listed or it didn't work. Will need to find out what QIF downloads are.

Already Reset the Syncing Date and there was no change.

I purchased MD about a year ago and forgot I had it. So I only started using it the past week and downloaded the transactions then. Only 90 days.

It's unfortunate because I need all of 2024 or else I'll have to enter manually which defeats the purpose.

You cannot expect Md to get "all of 2024" when banks are not providing that information. MD cannot create something out of nothing.

If you purchased MD about a year ago, then it is on you for not downloading 2024 while you could. Don't blame moneydance for your lack of action.

There are a very few banks that download more than 90 days now. Schwab used to (about 2 years ago) download 18 months. Now it is 90 days for them. In some cases, you can get more data by following dwg's suggestion in post 4:

To get more you may be able to go to your institutions website and manually download a greater range of transactions.

I haven't personally checked how far back different banks go recently, but I can definitely say that the automatic download periods have gotten shorter and shorter, with 90 days now being the norm.

btw, you do realize you totally hijacked this thread and moved it to a different subject versus creating your own thread?

you owe Thomas Carl Stoerzbach an apology.

I'm not blaming MD btw, was just asking a question, and I'm not blaming myself either I'm not here angry at anyone.

Thank you for taking the time to reply and have a blessed day.

Blaming is never a good thing - I'm glad you follow that concept.
You have a good day as well.
