Moneydance+ accounts always require relinking

About five of my accounts in Moneydance+ require relinking every time I open Moneydance. This seems to be a continuing problem. Is there a solution yet?

What banks, and what does a relinking entail?

Is there some kind of difference between the 5 accounts and the rest of your accounts? i.e. are all 5 at the same bank?

There are different kinds of relinks. I have many accounts/banks with MD+ and an occasional relink is required (I had one today). But it is like 3-4 a month for 20-30 accounts.

I'm also getting this. It varies a little bit for me, but for a few weeks now I've needed to relink paypal and american express accounts every time I open it. I've got about a dozen online accounts setup, and these are the only ones that behave this way.

EDIT: The paypal account shows 'Connected' without relinking, though it still prompts me to relink almost every time. The american express accounts (credit + savings) show as 'Expired' even after relinking.

I've had the same thing with one bank-Barclay's. Been going on for a long time. The only thing IK could offer was to try upgrading MD but I would have had to pay instead of a free upgrade so I decided to keep living with it for now. I did contact Barclay's about it and their only response was that they don't offer downloads through Plaid and so couldn't help me, which was really strange since it clearly works in spite of the regular re-linking (roughly once a month)

Use toolbox extension. Force delete md+ connection and then manually recreate the md+ connection.

    Backup first.

I had to reset my password and lost my reply, so here's my short reply now:

It occurs for both checking and credit cards. Barclays is one of them. Sometimes just going to the Set Up Moneydance+ window and clicking Refresh works to reconnect them. Today I only had one that needed reconnecting, and Refresh worked.

I haven't received a response from Infinitekind and although I've seen this issue pop up a lot I haven't seen a real official solution. The low level support at banks is clueless and it's hard to navigate to get support from Plaid. We'll keep plugging away. I'll try Stuart's suggestion.

Having a similar problem with CitizensBank. Shows that the accounts are connected, but "zero transactions downloaded after duplicates removed." It hasn't been able to update in several weeks.
