QFX import failure
I have been importing monthly QFX files from my bank for about a year with no problems. When I come to import February's data into my current account in Moneydance, nothing happens. I have tried restarting the program but the same result. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks.

Open the QFX file in an editor and have a look at the contents. The first thing to establish is if there is anything useful in the file.

I've had a look using Notepad, and there is certainly data in there.

Hi Chris,
Is there a blue dot in the left side bar next to the balance of the account in question?
If so, the transactions may be blocked by a filter. e.g. 'This month'. or you may have the Split Register applied. This would be indicated by a message at the bottom of the register stating that you have 'x' number of unconfirmed transactions. In this case, simply reset the Split Register by clicking the button in the upper, right-hand corner of the register.
If there is no blue dot. Try re-downloading the qfx file and re-do the import.

That has fixed it. Many thanks.
Could you explain a bit more what the split register means?
Thanks again
Chris

Hi Chris,
You're welcome. I'm glad to hear that you were able to get this sorted out.
Thank you for reporting back with your results.
The Split Register is available for those who wish to separate out newly imported, unconfirmed transactions from the rest of the register. There is a small blurb about it in the knowledgebase here: https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/register-and-transactions/sor...

EDIT: I should add that the bar at the bottom of the register with the message about 'x' number of unconfirmed transaction can be dragged upwards, doing so will reveal the unconfirmed transactions and thus creates the Split Register.
