MoneyDance+ Plaid interface not downloading investment transactions from Vanguard

On Friday 12 Sep, I observed that the MoneyDance+ Plaid interface failed to download any investment transactions from my Vanguard account. This problem has persisted through today, Tuesday 16 Sep. I have disconnected/reconnected MoneyDance+ from/to Vanguard numerous times since Friday 12 Sep, but after reconnecting and attempting to download investment transactions from Vanguard, I get the following error message from MoneyDance+:

"There was an error communicating with your financial institution. The details of this error are below.

The error code reported by the server was: 0

Error type: API_ERROR
Error code: INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR

The download function worked fine until Friday 12 Sep. Is anyone else experiencing problems downloading investment transactions from Vanguard?

   Hi Ed,
   We are sorry to hear about the problem you have encountered.

   Firstly, if you haven't already you could try hitting the "Refresh" button the the Account tab of Moneydance +.
   Also, you should navigate to the bank's website to check that your accounts are individually enabled for third party access and they do not require a one-time authorization password, for instance.

   Also, please ensure that your accounts are assigned as described in this article.

   Finally, if you have a firewall, VPN, antivirus software or any other software that might be blocking Moneydance's access to the internet, you could try disabling it and see if you're able to connect then.

   I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

   Thank you for responding so quickly. In reference to your response above:

   I have hit the "Refresh" button on the Account tab of MoneyDance + multiple times. This action does not solve the problem.

   All of my Vanguard investment accounts are individually enabled for third party access, and they do not require a one-time authorization password. Up until a week ago, I was able to use the Plaid interface in MoneyDance + to download Vanguard investment transactions directly into MoneyDance. I'm not aware of any changes since then at Vanguard or with the MoneyDance software on my computer.

   All of my Vanguard investment accounts are assigned as shown in the article referenced in your message above.

   I am able to use the Plaid interface in MoneyDance + to download transactions from 2 different banks and 3 different credit card companies directly into MoneyDance, indicating that there is no software blocking MoneyDance access to the internet.

   Since no one else has posted indicating a problem using the Plaid interface to download investment transactions from Vanguard, I'm inclined to believe that the problem is originating from my end, but I can't identify any changes that I've made in the last week that would have caused this problem.

   All I can think to do is to cancel my MoneyDance + subscription, and then sign up again and relink all of my bank, credit card and Vanguard investment accounts.

   Any other thoughts or recommendations you might have before I take this action would be very much appreciated.

   Would you be able to send us a copy of your Moneydance error logs? The logs should include information on what might be causing the issue.

   You could navigate to Help->Console Window and click the arrow (at the bottom left). Select Copy to Clipboard and attach or paste the full content in your next reply.

   Alternatively, you should navigate to:

   Local Disk(C:)>Users>Your Name>.moneydance>errlog.txt

   Finally you can copy the full content into your next reply here.

   Please be assured that I've set this thread to 'Private' for the purpose.

   As indicated in the above error log, I selected the MoneyDance menu option "Online/Download All Accounts" starting at 20250918-15:56:06 U.S. Pacific Daylight Time.

   All other accounts downloaded fine, and my Vanguard accounts are the last in the account download queue. The Vanguard account download process started at 20250918-15:56:31 with the account titled "IRA Eric." This download failed, as it did for the subsequent attempts to download the following 5 Vanguard accounts:
   "IRA JAC"
   "IRA Inherited"
   "Invest Vanguard"
   "Roth IRA Eric"
   "Roth IRA JAC"

   Hi again Maddy. Inexplicably, all 6 of my Vanguard accounts downloaded correctly into MD today (Friday 26 Sep). This is the first time in 2 weeks that my Vanguard accounts downloaded correctly into MD.

   I have changed nothing in my MD account or online in my Vanguard account since I first reported the error message in my note above dated 16 September. Daily I select "Online/Download All Accounts" from the MD Menu Bar to update all of my bank and credit card accounts, and I had grown accustomed to getting the error message shown in my first post above when the download process queried each of my 6 Vanguard accounts. Thus I was quite surprised to get a successful download into my Vanguard MD accounts today.

   Far be it from me to look a gift horse in the mouth.......
