Fidelity Investments Transaction Download Stopped Working around 12/1/25
I have about 6 investment accounts with Fidelity Investments and have been downloading transactions via the MoneyDance OFX service option for many years. Around the first of December 2025, MoneyDance stopped downloading new transactions. I have reset the connection via the UI and while it seemed to work transactions still do not download.
I used the ToolBox function to remove the Fidelity configuration. When I go through the steps of setting a new connection, I reach a screen that asks for "Broker ID" and "Account Number" and the "Broker ID" field is blank. When I hit next, the setup process says it has what it needs and allows me to click Finish. I then hit Download and it starts the setup process again, indicating that it did not save anything.
So...
--Is MoneyDance having issues with Fidelity?
--I have not been able to find way to manually import investment transactions, so if that is available please provide the info on how to use it.
Other ideas on how to resolve this issue?
Thanks
Tommy James

Got it...thanks.
This thread only addressed my first question. I posted my second question to the thread you provided and hopefully the answer will be provided there.
If there is a way to import investment transactions to MoneyDance, then I can skip the Fidelity issue and manage my own import files.
Thanks

It is not simply a matter of mapping the Columns in a CSV file to the fields in Moneydance, as some are thinking, the CSV files simply do not have the level of information or detail in them, or indeed the structure that is required so many fields in the CSV file will require a considerable amount of processing to try and determine the required data.
To do it in Moneydance would require an extension to be created, not simply an addition to the existing CSV importers. I do not see anyone stepping up to try and create it and I think it is unlikely for TiK would do it themselves given current priorities and the relatively limited application at the moment.

Thanks...unfortunately, that limitation is on MoneyDance and not Fidelity.
Manually entering investment transactions is not a viable option long term for myself, so if this is not resolved, I will have to find another solution. Short term, I can build my own solution in Excel using the Fidelity CSV export, but maybe I teach myself how to build my own MoneyDance addin/extension... :)
Thanks

My recommendation would be to focus on creating an OFX format file, or failing that QIF.

Stumbled on this discussion as I'm having the same issue. Have been doing this for years problem free, now all broken. I have found no way to import and this manual stuff is a waste of time. No solution forthcoming it seems.
