Repeated No_Accounts Message for "Bank Name:Moneydance+"
I had to remove my online connection to Fidelity when it stopped working because of their recent security change. Originally, I thought it was connected via MD+ and couldn't understand why it kept trying to download it every day. Subsequently, I realized it was using an OFX connection, and I deleted the connection. Now, I'm getting the attached message. I tried running "Cleanup missing Online Banking Links" in Toolbox Online Banking tools, which seemed to run successfully, but I continue to get this type of message repeatedly. How do I get rid of this message?

Hi Gina,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.
The error is returned by Chase.
In order to remove the OFX connection with Chase, open Moneydance and select the relevant account in the sidebar. Then go to Online → Set Up Online Banking and click Disable to remove the OFX setup.
After that, restart Moneydance.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

Hi Maddy,
The three accounts that I have connected through MD+ are linked, connected, and working fine. There are no other unlinked or accounts that are not connected in MD+ so there is nothing to “Disconnect". As I mentioned in my original message, The account I disconnected was my Fidelity account, which was an OFX connection, not a MD+ connection. That’s why these messages make no sense. Here’s the message I got this morning. The only think that changes in the multiple daily error messages is the Request ID. Here’s the first one from this morning.

I only have one Chase account connect to MD, and it's connected via MD+, not OFX. When I click on my Chase account in the sidebar and select Set up Online Banking, this is what I get because I no longer have any OFX accounts. The message Error Code says NO_ACCOUNTS.

The request ID 7fbe474e5409dd6 refers to Chase, not Fidelity. If you previously had a Chase account connected through OFX and that connection wasn’t fully removed before switching to Moneydance+, the system will return the zero error. Essentially, Moneydance is detecting two connections for the same financial institution, which is why this error keeps appearing.

In order to stop the OFX method taking over Moneydance + and allow your transactions to download as expected, you should clear the current connection information still stored within the program.
To achieve this, please navigate to Extensions->Manage Extensions and install the Toolbox (v.1070)
Launch the Toolbox and select the Update Mode
Then, navigate to Menu: Online Banking (OFX) Tools
In the resulting window, under Update Functions you should select:
Delete OFX Banking Service / Logon profile (remove_one_service.py)
Please keep us posted on your progress, Thank you!

There is nothing in the "Delete OFX Banking Service / Logon profile (remove_one_service.py)" dropdown list because I don't have any OFX accounts. Here's what I see.

Another possibility is that the account was accidentally marked as “inactive.”
You can check this by going to Tools → Accounts, selecting the relevant account, and choosing Edit. If the “Inactive” option is checked, uncheck it and restart Moneydance — this should resolve the error.

No, the only Chase account I have in accounts is connected via MD+ and "Inactive" is not checked.

Can you confirm which account type it is?
Please note that the account type in Moneydance should match the type shown online.
