<p>My bank doesn't appear in the list of on-line banks so I tried
importing my credit card transactions via QIF file that the bank
provides. This worked fine.</p>
<p>I notice from the Moneydance manual that the on-line banking
functionality has an acceptance process and the ability to deal
with "matching" transactions.</p>
<p>Is this facility available to an "Imported" QIF file? I have in
the past, in Quicken, Imported transactions mid month and then
again at the end of the month. I have a feeling that using the QIF
import will just duplicate the transactions and I will have to go
through and delete them, (not good....)</p></div>ianpmitchelltag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/383042292015-10-27T12:16:06Z2015-10-27T12:16:06ZImporting banking transactions<div><p>Importing QIF files will show the acceptance process but only if
you set the "File Source" option on the QIF import window to "From
a downloaded file".</p>
<p>If you bank offers OFX or QFX files you should use those
instead. The will have much less of a problem with duplicates.</p>

<p>Imported the same file again and got the acceptance and the
"matching"<br>
process.</p>
<p>Also found it very to delete the "unconfirmed" transactions.</p>
<p>Excellent....</p>
<p>Regards</p>
