<p>Unfortunately, Capital One doesn't support direct OFX
connections for their credit card customers, which Moneydance
requires in order to talk directly to a bank. The best way to get
your transactions into Moneydance is to use a web browser to
download them from your bank's web site. You can download into QFX,
QIF, OFX or OFC files (sometimes referred to as Quicken or MS Money
files), any of which will import cleanly into Moneydance.<br>
You can also open your bank's download page directly (after
entering the appropriate address in the Account->Edit Account
menu) by going to the menu bar and selecting Online->Open
Account Website.</p>
<p>Please let me know if I can be of further assistance, and thank
you for your interest in Moneydance.</p>

it’s a bummer, a deal-breaker for me. I can’t fuss with
that, so am sticking with Quicken for now. — Hopefully in a
year or so this will change; I may check back.</p>
<p>I had really wanted to use Moneydance. It’s reviews were
good and I use a Mac, so it would have been great not to have to
first boot up Parallels, then Windows 10, and finally Quicken to do
my daily financial management. And I liked what I saw so far in the
demo software, and InfiniteKind’s tech response was prompt
and helpful. But having to go to Capital One’s website and
create a file before import is “a bridge too far” for
me. :(</p>
<p>All the best to you and thank you for your help,<br>

<p>We're working on a feature that will allow Moneydance to import
financial information from institutions that do not support OFX
direct connections. Unfortunately I cannot give a definitive
timeline on it's implementation. Keep us in mind, and hopefully the
next time you check back in we'll have all the functionality that
you're looking for!</p>
<p>Hope this helps, and feel free to contact us for any additional
support!</p>

when the feature is available?</p>
<p>Thanks again,<br>

our internal issue tracking system describing this functionality.
When it is implemented, myself or another one of our staff will
respond to this ticket and let you know! I'll leave the ticket open
until then. Have a good evening!</p>
