<p>If you go to File->Preferences->Summary Page->you can add/remove the available accounts and they will be shown in the Summary page, the way and in the order you want.</p>

<p>It is my understanding that marking an account as 'Inactive' removes the account name from <em>most</em> lists but not <em>all</em> lists.</p>
<p>For those lists where the account name is not removed, the best thing that you can do is relegate them to the bottom of those lists and out of the way.</p>
<p>Since account nomenclature adheres to ASCII rules, you can append a 'z' to the beginning of the account name to hopefully send it to the bottom of the list.<br>
e.g. zChecking.</p>
<p>You may or may not need to restart Moneydance in order for the changes to take effect.</p>

<p>This is a good workaround. It does the job of pushing it down the list and the old account is not in the way.</p>
