<p>I know you write that your accounts are already enabled for direct connections, but let's make sure of that, since most Chase users seems to have to do more steps than the support person you were talking with seemed to suggest. Chase allow you to enable Direct Connect on their website. To enable this connection method, follow these steps:</p>
<ol>
<li>Log on to the Chase website.<br>
2 Look to the upper right-hand corner of the webpage for the head and torso icon.<br></li>
<li>Click the head and torso icon and select 'More Settings'.<br></li>
<li>A list of items will appear on the left side.<br></li>
<li>Scroll all the way to the bottom of the list.<br></li>
<li>There you'll see the link for 'Desktop apps' under the AccountSafe menu<br></li>
<li>Click to activate your account.</li>
</ol>
<p>You should be able to connect in Moneydance after that. If you still have trouble, you may need to perform one more verification step. To do so, follow these steps:</p>
<ol>
<li>Log on to Chase's site.<br></li>
<li>Go to your Secure Message Inbox.<br></li>
<li>You should have a message asking you to confirm your connection. Click the link to confirm.</li>
</ol>
<p>If that still doesn't work, let me know where you get stuck in that process, and any specific error messages you receive.</p>

<p>Just so ya know……I was directed by the Chase rep to go to the website and do the activation under AccoutSafe – and I had done that.</p>
<p>What the paid professional didn’t tell me was that I needed to go to my Secure Message box and confirm my ID. Upon completing this step, I was able to successfully link to my account.</p>
<p>Thanks for being good at what you do.
