I set my account up for the automatic download, and got data from 2013 to present. I really just want to begin with January 1st of this year - how do I get rid of all the other (pre-2015) transactions? I tried the instructions for deleting a data set, but when I put my cursor in the Moneydance title bar and did a ctrl+click, nothing happened. I am fine with starting all over again but this is really frustrating.
thank you.

If you are using direct connections to download data there is no way of controlling how much data the bank provides in the initial download. They simply send everything they have.

In order to delete a set of transactions do not put your cursor in the Moneydance title bar. Instead select the first transaction you want to delete then hold down the shift key on your keyboard and select the last transaction you want to delete. Then right click on the blue selected transactions and select delete.

Thank you. I deleted those transactions I didn't need.
