merging transaction in investment account

I have an investment account with an associated checking feature. When I download transactions I have already entered manually, I don't get the option to merge, only to confirm, the transaction. If I delete the transaction it will return the next time I download from the broker. The manually entered transaction is part of a split in another account, if that makes any difference. Merging transactions work fine in bank accounts, but I only get the confirm button on the bottom of the page for investment accounts.

Is it possible to merge transactions in an investment account or prevent a deleted transaction from being downloaded again?

I am encountering the same difficulty. I have a savings account paycheck deposit reminder that includes a split transactions to a health savings account and a 401(k). I download transactions for both accounts. I cannot match the downloaded transaction to the appropriate portion of the split transaction in the savings account, and I cannot match the downloaded transaction to the other side of the split transaction in the investment account. If I separate these transfers from the paycheck reminder, the downloaded transaction for the paycheck deposit will not merge with the reminder, as the remaining reminder amount does not match the downloaded deposit amount. I can delete the downloaded transactions, but they reappear upon the next download. I implore you to include this basic matching functionality.
