When I made the switch, I entered the beginning balances of my bank and credit card accounts and started downloading new transactions. However, with my Citibank credit card, each time I download new transactions it also downloads about forty transactions from 2019. How do I prevent these old transactions from downloading?

r.steven.crabtreetag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/484220282020-06-23T18:59:45Z2020-06-23T18:59:45Zstop prior year transactions downloading

just a user here, this is a forum, not live chat, so it may take some time for you to get a reply.

that said - i'll give you a brief, before anyone answers consideration - the reason you get the transactions downloaded is there isn't a "just download from a certain date" bit in Direct Connect (i don't think...)

So, until you have transactions downloaded (which have a special code in them saying - hey, it's done, don't do it again), and instead you delete them, they'll be downloaded the next time.

As to a way to ignore them, you could put an offsettng initial balance and then just ignore them forever, or until they get old enough that chase won't think to download them as they've "expired"...

i can think of other ways, but the issue is having chase/md know theyve been downloaded. Other answers, I'm sure will follow.

dtd
