I've tried deleting the account and starting over, tried deleting and re-setting the online banking setup, all to no avail. I've looked for help in the knowledge base, but everytime a thread starts looking like it might be helpful, it's private.<br>
I'm able to download transactions from my bank and import them, but all the other accounts download automatically. <p>Which bank are you trying to connect with? When you write that "online banking seems to be setup correctly," are you referring to your other accounts with this bank, or this new account?</p>
<p>A few things to check:</p>
<p>Make sure the All button is selected at the top of your register. Some of the other options can filter out recent transactions from the active view.</p>
<p>Do you see a bar towards the bottom of your register that says something like '## Unconfirmed Transactions'? If so, you have the split register view active. You can either click and drag this bar up to reveal your unconfirmed transactions, or exit this view by clicking on the 'box' icon just to the right of the New Transaction button.</p>

<p>'Online Banking set up correctly' was referring to the new acct, the other accts (including several with same bank) were already working correctly since I've been using MD</p>
<p>"ALL" is selected, there are no transactions downloaded, no new transactions hidden.</p>
<p>all activity appears to be working correctly, ie "downloading transactions" indicated for each acct, but ends with "zero transactions downloaded".<br>
tried with VPN turned on and off, no difference.<br>
not getting a popup asking for password,</p>
<p>now another day later, still same.</p>

Here's how to get the logs:</p>
<p>1) In Moneydance, click on the Help menu in the Moneydance menu bar and select the Console Window option. This will open the console messages window.<br>
2) While the Console Window is open, attempt to connect to only this one account at your bank. You can do this by opening the register for this account and going to Online -> Download Credit Card Account from the menu bar. Any error messages should be recorded to the Console.<br>
3) Select all of the text in the Console and use the <strong>Copy to Clipboard</strong> button at the bottom to copy the text.<br>
4) Paste the text from the message window into a text file (preferably saved with a .txt extension) and attach that file to your response here.</p>
<p>The debugging logs that this produces may contain your account information. I've made sure that thread is set to private, so the information will only be seen by you and the support staff, but just to be safe you should redact any account info in the debug logs. Just replace it with something like <strong>ACCOUNT NUMBER HERE</strong> and it should be fine.</p>

So it must've been something with my bank/credit union... either it wasn't releasing transactions for download until a full month cycle or it only releases transactions when a monthly statement is available. either way, not a MD problem!<br>
