Downloading transactions
Last month in October, I was able to connect with my brokerage accounts and download transactions. I have been trying for the last couple of days to do so for this month, but am not able to do it. The program seems to connect with the brokerage account, the program says it is downloading, but no transactions come down. (And, yes, there are transactions to download.)
Has anything changed in the last month with the program to cause this?
MacOS Catalina version 10.15.7 (19H2)
Moneydance version 201710 (1706).

Nothing has changed with your version the program, but if you are referring to Schwab, they abruptly stopped OFX downloads on Oct 16. There are multiple threads about this, and a lot of consternation with Schwab.
If you are referring to a different firm, please provide more information.

Yes, it is Schwab that is my problem. Doesn’t make sense that they would do
that. I’ll keep monitoring. Thanks.

Tell me about it. I've personally had 5-6 calls with Schwab about this, and the response to "why didn't you inform your clients in advance about this, given you've been planning this since January?" ...
is pretty much silence, then a "we contacted all the third parties (in the universe) and they could have signed up".
You didn't contact MY 3rd party (Moneydance)....
And so it goes - you can read about all if you wish.

I don’t wish to compound your problem, & this will probably be irrelevant to your current download issue but you ask…..

MD 2017.10 (1706) is not fully compatible with Catalina, later you may want to consider updating to a newer version of MD.
