Would you mind tagging this as a feature suggestion? I think
this option would be useful to many.

The data is there...any takers on writing an extension "Convert
Transaction Date"?

Jontag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/388773292016-01-09T19:55:41Z2016-02-12T01:32:44ZCredit Card Download Post Date/Trans Date

Sorry, I just realized I checked the "Show Transaction Details"
on a transaction I had already manually modified the transaction
date. My bad.

After inspecting the Chase QFX, QIF, IIF, QBO, OFX, and CSV
export options, only the CSV contains both the "Trans Date" and
"Post Date".

Obviously when entering a few transactions at a time it's no big
deal to use the "-" key to adjust the date. For those who want to
streamline the process or have a large batch to enter, importing
the CSV file using the Trans Date and ignoring the Post Date does
the trick. For power users, the extension "CSV Importer" works well
for this: https://github.com/stant/mdcsvimporter2015/releases

Jon
