Importing CSV
I tried the new Import Text file. From a CSV, the transactions are imported, but not as before, with the Unconfirmed flag, they just come in without an account, no flag and as such, useless...
how can i solve this?
And to add, what is the meaning of the STATUS field?
thanks,
Maurizio

If you attach a sample of your csv file I'll see what settings are needed to import it.

Can you tell me what the columns are in your csv file?
e.g.
12/02/2015;xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx;;34.5
1) Date
2) is this supposed to be description or category?
3) Is this debit?
4) Is this credit?
Note that the Text File Importer extension does not support debit and credit in separate columns. It only supports a single amount column where a negative value indicates debit.

sure.
Date-description-credit-debit
I know the minus sign thing, but that's minor, it is not the problem i'm facing. The old version, on top of giving the possibility to define and save formats, also brought records in with the blue circle, indicating the need to confirm/merge. And the account as a standard to whatever... Now it is all gone...
Thanks,
maurizio

I believe I understand. I think when you say the "old version" you are referring to the 3rd party extension called "CSV Importer". "CSV Importer" is not an old version of "Text File Importer" it is a different extension.
The extension "CSV Importer" is not yet available for MD2015. I am afraid I do not know when the writer of this extension will update it to be compatible MD2015.

Hi Maurizio, Ben,
The developer of the CSV Importer has created a version compatible with MD 2015.
It can be downloaded from here:
https://github.com/stant/mdcsvimporter2015/releases
It is not yet signed by T.I.K. so you will receive a warning as such when you go to install it.
BTW, I was able to import your CSV with the new version.
