In the past, I could go in and delete the association and try again.
Now, when I click on "match online acconts" it only loads MD+. This is the same action that happens when I click on "set up MD+." Why do both menu options do the same thing? How can I reassociate a downloaded file's info with the correct account? I don't see anything in the toolbox that will do this either.

Roger Ricetag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/548059222022-06-27T13:57:57Z2022-06-27T13:57:57ZReset Downloaded OFX Association

Hi Roger,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.

Navigate to Extensions->Manage Extensions and install the Toolbox.

Launch Toolbox, navigate to ToolBox Options (on top left corner) and select - 'Update Mode'->Yes->Do Back Up Now

Navigate to Menu: Online Banking (OFX) Tools (2nd tab down) In the resulting window, under Update Functions you should select Forget OFX Banking File Import Link (remove_ofx_account_bindings.py).
Finally, click "Proceed" to select the account you need.
Restart Moneydance.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

I've entered updated mode but that option is still greyed out.

Roger Ricetag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/548059222022-06-27T16:35:38Z2022-06-27T16:35:38ZReset Downloaded OFX Association

What version are you one? This toolbox option is not supposed to be used on MD2022 with MD+ capability; hence it's greyed out....

You need to use the Online > Match Online Accounts feature..

Can you try rebooting and try again... The menu should appear...

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/548059222022-06-27T16:39:34Z2022-06-27T16:39:34ZReset Downloaded OFX Association

Oh, I get what's happening..
I've restarted the application several times. I can't do a full system restart for the next few hours due to an important, unrelated background process that I have running.

if I click on "match online accounts" it no longer pulls up the correct popup. It instead pulls up the 'setup moneydance +" popup (as does selecting "set up moneydance+.")

I'll be able to try a full system restart later today (but probably after normal business hours in the UK.)

Roger Ricetag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/548059222022-06-27T16:43:14Z2022-06-27T16:43:14ZReset Downloaded OFX Association

Forget the restart...
Yes!That made a difference... Luckily, I still have a couple of non plaid accounts so that I can do this and it worked.

This may be a bad use scenario for someone who does not have a non plaid account remaining... My use case is that I have a plaid enabled account but sometimes, I can't wait for the delay that plaid puts on to transactions and I go to the website to download a manual fie. That's what happened this morning. Plaid didn't have the transactions available yet so I was manually importing them.

So, I'm set for now, but this is not very intuitive and may cause issues for others with a similar use case.

Thank you!

Roger Rice
