The one thing I can address is permission setting for third party software with USAA. I've read that USAA has a problem with granting such with a recent change. So, my one suggestion is to go to your usaa credit card and insure it is granting third party access.

Hope that helps.

dtdtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/577769822023-02-01T03:36:32Z2023-02-01T03:36:32ZMoneydance+ and USAA Credit Card

I upgraded to the latest version of Moneydance today and it seemed to break my USAA ofx connection. I then decided to see if could add my USAA Credit Card to Moneydance+. Another failure.

ExplodingSidewalktag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/577769822023-02-01T03:40:50Z2023-02-01T03:40:50ZMoneydance+ and USAA Credit Card

just a user - the upgrade should not have broken usaa ofx connection. i assume you applied the fix from toolbox or even older....?

can you explain what happened, what error messages? I know you probably can't replicate it at the moment since you tried to move to MD+, but that might provide some answers.

dtdtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/577769822023-02-01T03:42:25Z2023-02-01T03:42:25ZMoneydance+ and USAA Credit Card

just a user - as an example, I upgraded in the last few days, and my usaa OFX connections are still working fine, including my credit card.

dtdtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/577769822023-02-01T04:06:17Z2023-02-01T04:06:17ZMoneydance+ and USAA Credit Card

Well if you are on Moneydance 2022.6 (4097) and your USAA Credit Card OFX connection is working correctly. Mine should be doing the same.

I guess I'll try to set up the USAA ofx connection again using toolbox.

Thanks for the info.

ExplodingSidewalktag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/577769822023-02-01T04:08:42Z2023-02-01T04:08:42ZMoneydance+ and USAA Credit Card

just a user - You may have to crash and burn the USAA MD+ link, and then reestablish the OFX link - and you might have to redo the toolbox fix at this point, but I'm not sure -if you see "Custom USAA Profile" - it's probably still there.

dtdtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/577769822023-02-01T04:23:28Z2023-02-01T04:25:00ZMoneydance+ and USAA Credit Card

I went into my USAA Account and "Revoked" all of the Connected Apps which were OFX and Plaid in my case. I then went through the process of setting up my USAA Credit Card via Moneydance+ but, this time I used 6 digit code (text message) instead of pin number. Sure enough it picked up my credit card account now.

Not sure what made it work. Revoke all Conected Apps or USAA Security with 6 Digit (txt message) instead of PIN Number.

Thanks for all your help. dtd.

ExplodingSidewalktag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/577769822023-02-01T05:53:58Z2023-02-01T05:53:58ZMoneydance+ and USAA Credit Card

Glad it is working again!

dtd
