<p>The default is to use the direct download rather than MD+, so you have to delete the direct download to use moneydance+ downloads. If it works, you should go to the direct connect area and click disconnect. If it doesn't work, I think the Toolbox extension can get rid of it, but I don't remember the exact process.</p>
<p>Hope that helps. You said the reason you moved away from OFX direct connect was due to required 3 step authentication... I have multiple USAA accounts and although authentication is recommended (and I do get a phone text message when I log in), I'm still able to use OFX direct connect for USAA vs moneydance.
