error message 2000 with USAA
Why, today, am I getting error code 2000 when I try to download my USAA account info?

I don't have an answer, but I'm getting the same error. I quit Moneydance, restarted it, and was asked for my PIN for each account, but got the same error code:
"There was an error communicating with your financial institution. The details of this error are below.
Bank Name: USAA Federal Savings Bank
The error code reported by the server was: 2000
Were sorry, an error has occurred during processing. Please try again."

It seems that USAA may be experiencing an interruption in there direct connection service. Please check back in with us if the service hasn't been restored by Monday afternoon.
