Downloading transactions from the wrong account
Hi. New user here, still trying to get online banking to work correctly.
I finally got it working correctly for my checking account, but the other two connected accounts, Savings and Money Market (higher-interest savings) both want to download transactions from the Savings account.
One other data point--when I disable online banking for all accounts, and then set it up again, for whichever account I reconnect first, MD shows an extra UI step in the Online Banking Signup wizard where I'm prompted to select the account an extra time after typing my password in the Authentication dialog. I don't see that separate prompt for the remaining accounts when I connect them, just the initial Account selector before the Authentication dialog. In case that helps...
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide,
Ed

Hi Ed,
I'm assuming that all 3 accounts are with the same financial institution. Correct?
When you run the online banking routine for each account, select the 'New Connection' button each time for each account, even though your financial institution may already be listed in the drop-down list.

Hi Ed,
I should add that you'll need to disable online banking for each account first.

Yes, all the same bank. I'll give that a try.

No difference. Checking works fine but Money Market downloads
transactions for Savings, which I do not even have set up for online
banking. I've been using Quicken for onlne banking with this bank
(OnPoint Community Credit Union) for a couple of years without issue.

Could you check your account settings in Moneydance to make sure that your account and routing numbers are entered correctly? A typo in either of those could possibly cause the problem you are seeing.

Account number setting was the problem. These accounts all have the same base number and different suffix numbers. Savings is xxxxxxx-1 and Money Market is xxxxxxx-11. All accounts except checking were having this number set to -1. (I was never prompted for these numbers, so the incorrect one was either mis-assigned or truncated.)
Thanks, Ian!
